Abstract

Only machines with built-in memories and automatic computing talents can hope to cope with the mountain of paperwork and complex needs for continuously up-to-date information which face today's military suppliers and tomorrow's big business. Here is a case history of how one firm designed such an operational control system and the way in which it works in practice.
