Discusses the study on the functioning of the U.S. labor market for scientists and engineers, the types of difficulties faced by them in seeking jobs, either voluntarily or because of layoff, and the important policy issues to be considered in making the labor market more efficient. Adoption of various job search strategies by the labor market; Analysis of the condition of the labor market and policies for its efficiency.
