As Microsoft Corporation's recent antitrust challenges highlight, no company today can be competitive unless it simultaneously manages relationships in each critical aspect of managerial operations. This article presents a framework to help managers identify and map key value creators and destroyers on the basis of their impact upon value creation in their economic, political/social, and technological environments. The framework provides a basis from which managers can pursue a comprehensive stakeholder valuation analysis.
